Pavlov's Dog originally called Pavlov's Dog and the Condition Reflex Soul Revue and Concert Choir, apparently were one of America's chief entrants in the 'progressive pop' stakes, along with Ambrosiasticking mainly to the short song format, but with noticeable progressive tendencies. The material's excellent, with songs like Julia and Natchez Trace sticking like glue and the mini-epic Of Once And Future Kings cementing their prog credentials.
